Europe’s largest river cruise line, CroisiEurope Cruises, has released details of its summer Family Club program on the Douro, Guadalquivir, Rhine and their new Family Club itinerary through Greece’s Cyclades and Dodecanese Islands.
CroisiEurope’s Family Club cruises offer kid-friendly excursions and allow children to cruise for free on the Douro Guadalquivir, and Rhine, and a 30% discount for children 16 and under on the new Greek itinerary.
The summer Family Club program is available on the following itineraries:
From Portugal to Spain: Porto, the Douro Valley (Portugal) and Salamanca (Spain): Five- and eight-night round-trip cruises from Porto visiting Regua, Pinhao, Vega de Terron, Barca D’Alva, Senhora Da Ribeira and Ferradosa. Child-friendly excursions include a tour of Porto by tram plus a visit to the Tramway Museum and a splash around the swimming pool in Salamanca. Prices for the five-night cruise start at $1,753 per person with departures on July 8, 13 and 22 and August 6 and 17, 2022. Prices for the seven-night cruise start at $2,245 per person with departures on July 4, 8, 11, 16, 18 and 27 and August 10 and 22, 2022. Kids 16 and under cruise for free.
From Seville to Granada: Andalusia: Traditions, Gastronomy, and Flamenco: A seven-night round-trip cruise from Seville visiting Córdoba, Cadiz, El Puerto de Santa Maria, Isla Minima and Granada. Child-friendly excursions include visits to the Seville Aquarium and the Isla Magica Theme Park. The cruise takes place on MS La Belle de Cadix with departures on July 7, 14, 21 and 28, 2022; and August 4, 11, 18 and 25, 2022. Prices start at $1,973 per person and kids 16 and under cruise free.
The Romantic Rhine Valley and The Rock of the Lorelei: A five-night round-trip cruise from Strasbourg visiting Rüdesheim, Koblenz, Mainz and the Black Forest. Child-friendly excursions include a boat tour of Strasbourg by night, a tour of local vineyards on a tourist train, visits to Siegfried’s Mechanical Music Cabinet Museum in Rüdesheim, the Gutenberg Museum in Mainz and a Treetop walk in the Black Forest. Prices start at $1,050 per person with departures on July 4 and 13, 2022; and August 5 and 17, 2022. Kids cruise for free. Optional excursion not included in the package: a full day in Europa-Park or Rulantica.
The Mysterious Cyclades and Dodecanese Islands in the Aegean Sea Antiquity in Athens: A new seven-night cruise round trip from Athens visiting the islands of Delos, Mykonos, Kos, Rhodes, Santorini and Paros. Child-friendly excursions include visits to Kos Town Castle, built by the Knights of St John, and to the most beautiful beaches on Mykonos, Rhodes et Paros with their turquoise waters and fine sandy beaches. Departures on 10th, 17th and 24th July; and 7th, 14th and 21st August. Adult price from $ 3,131 per person. Kids enjoy 30% off the adult fare.
From Renaissance Infused Mantua to Romantic Venice: A six-night cruise round trip from Venice visiting Chioggia, Porto Viro, Padua, Canda, Ostiglia, Verona and Mantua. Child-friendly excursions include a visit to the glassmakers of Murano, a tour to Verona and its amphitheater or the Giusti Gardens and a full day visit to Cavour Waterpark. Departures on 12th and 24th July; and 21st August. Adult price from $2,644 per person and kids 16 and under cruise for free.
CroisiEurope’s Family Club program offers free cruises for children up to 16 years of age in Venice, on the Douro, Guadalquivir and Rhine cruises and is limited to two children per fare paying adult. On the Cyclades cruise, children up to 16 years enjoy a 30% discount on the price of the cruise and is limited to two children per fare paying adult. Families requiring a second cabin will have adjacent cabins and the single supplement will be waived.
