Regent Seven Seas Cruises Returns to U.S. and Caribbean Cruising

RSSC Explorer

Regent Seven Seas Cruises® has celebrated its highly anticipated return to cruising in the U.S. and Caribbean with Seven Seas Explorer’s® call to Miami, Florida.

Excited guests embarked The Most Luxurious Ship Ever Built™ on November 15, 2021, in Miami for an exhilarating eight-night journey through Mexico, Belize, Guatemala, Honduras and Costa Rica, ending in Colon, Panama. Guests will experience Unrivaled Space at Sea™ across lavish suites, exquisite gourmet restaurants, and highly personalized service with every luxury included.

Having spent a month showing Regent guests the highlights of the Mediterranean, Seven Seas Explorer, helmed by Captain Rosario Vasta, will now explore the Caribbean until March 2022 when she returns to Europe.

“We are absolutely delighted to sail from the global home of cruising once again,” said Jason Montague, president and chief executive officer, Regent Seven Seas Cruises. “Our return to Miami is another huge step forward as we re-introduce our fleet to the seas and offer our guests the unrivaled Regent experience once more.”

Cruising with the cruise line’s enhanced SailSAFE™ Health and Safety Program – which includes 100% vaccination of both guests and crew – Seven Seas Explorer is Regent’s second ship to return to sailing, having joined Seven Seas Splendor® which has been enjoying a hugely successful inaugural season in Europe since September 11, 2021.

The next ship in The World’s Most Luxurious Fleet™ to resume sailing will be Seven Seas Mariner® on December 18, 2021, from Miami, Florida, followed by Seven Seas Navigator® on January 6, 2022, also from Miami. Finally, Seven Seas Voyager® will return on February 15, 2022, from Barcelona, Spain.

Multi-Layered SailSAFE Health & Safety Program

Regent Seven Seas Cruises has built upon its existing comprehensive health and safety protocols by establishing the SailSAFE health and safety program, a robust and science-backed strategy that creates multiple layers of protection against COVID-19. The Program was developed with guidance from a team of public health and scientific experts, including the SailSAFE Global Health and Wellness Council.

By visiting RSSC.com/HealthSafetyProtocols, guests and Travel Partners can see an overview of current requirements to sail – such as all guests and crew being fully vaccinated at least two weeks prior to departure – which the cruise line believes will provide a uniquely safe and healthy cruise experience. These and other requirements will be in place until a time when the protocols can be confidently adjusted, and Regent will constantly monitor the global health environment to protect the safety and security of guests, crew and communities visited.
