CroisiEurope Announces Two Carnival-Themed Programs

CroisiEurope is giving travelers the chance to party at two of Europe’s most famous carnivals – the Carnival of Venice and the Carnival of Cadiz – on two 2023 itineraries on The Po and the Guadalquivir rivers.

Mardi Gras in Andalusia

This brand new, five-night cruise travels round trip from Seville with calls in Cadiz, El Puerto de Santa Maria and Isla Minima. Included is a full day in Cadiz to enjoy the Carnival of Cadiz and discover Spanish Mardi Gras traditions. The carnival, which takes place between February 16 and 26, 2023, is known throughout the world as a huge street party, where the whole city is transformed as the streets are filled with people singing and enjoying themselves. During the celebrations, costumed choruses criss-cross the city singing satirical folk songs known as Chirigota, which paint comical caricatures of the local and international political scenes.

The cruise, onboard the MS La Belle de Cadix, departs on February 20, 2023 with cruise prices starting at $1,401 per person including all meals and drinks onboard, excursions, an evening of flamenco and port fees.

The Gems of Venice and Its Famous Carnival

A four-night cruise round trip from Venice with calls in Mazzorbo and Chioggia with plenty of free time to enjoy the Carnival of Venice which takes place between 4th and 21st February 2023. Venice Carnival is one of the most famous carnival celebrations in the world. Every year, three million people descend upon this floating city to soak up the iconic scenery, admire the extravagant costumes and masks and be part of an electric atmosphere.
